Summit County Fair Guidelines/Requirement 2024
 ALL PREMIUMS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 6PM on Saturday.  (no exceptions)
Premium's from all exhibits awarded shall not exceed the amount of $35 per person (Excluding Jr. Livestock Show)

 

4-H Exhibits Entered:

Monday, August 5, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - 4-H Exhibit Entry Day

Tuesday, August 6, 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - 4-H Fair Exhibit Entry Day

Wednesday, August 7, Judging Day -Closed to the public No Entries

4-H Exhibits Open To The Public:

Thursday, August 8, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Friday, August 9, 10:30 a.m.  - 8:00 p.m.

Premium booth opens:  2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, August 10, 12:00p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Premium booth opens:  11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Release of Exhibits

o   Exhibits will be released to the public from 5:00 p.m. To 6:30 p.m., Monday August 12.

o   The Summit County Fair will NOT be responsible for any exhibits left after 6:30 p.m., unless prior arrangements have been made.

 

Exhibits selected for state fair: Please check judges’ suggestions and make needed improvements. Most food exhibits will need to be remade and can be frozen if necessary.

Please read the following information carefully:

 

·         All projects must be entered by August 6th @ 8:00 PM

 

·         All youth and leaders must be registered for 4-H in order to enter any projects into the fair. 

 

·         Please use the instructions provided below to register projects for the 2024 Fair.

How to Enter 4-H Projects for the County Fair - 2024

 

1.Download the Utah 4-H 2024 Fairbook for a description of each lot.  

 

 

3.Select “4H Volunteers & Club Leaders”

 

4. Login using the same username from Zsuite & click “Forgot Password?” 

Note: If the youth and leader is not registered as a 4H member through

4h.zsuit.org you will not have access. Please be sure to register by going to

4h.zsuit.org. If you have any questions call 435-336

5.An email will be sent to you from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. instructing you on how to reset your password. (Even if you have registered in previous years, you will need to do this step.)

 

6.Return to countyfair.usu.edu, Select “4H Volunteers & Club Leaders”, then enter your username and new password

 

7.Select “Continue” 

 

8.On top bar select “add entries” 

 

9.Select Participant - Find your child’s name

Note: All Cloverbud participants will be highlighted in blue. Cloverbuds include

any child who is in Kindergarten - 2nd Grade. ALL Cloverbud entries are in

Division FD - Cloverbuds (K-2) and Lot 1.

 

10.Enter Lot #

Parents and Leaders should assist 4H member in determining what Lot # each

project should be in. Only one project per lot. For example, lego projects can

only be entered into either a STEM lot or a Lego lot, but not both. The youth can

choose which lot they wish to enter their project in. 

 

11.Enter amount of Items within that Lot #

 

12.Enter description 

*Please be as descriptive as possible. Example: Blue pillowcase, yellow & red stars

 

13.Bring projects to the Ledges Event Center on Monday, August 7th from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. OR Tuesday, August 8th from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

 

 

*Note: DO NOT PRINT THE TAGS. WE WILL HAVE TAGS PRINTED AND READY FOR EACH PROJECT AT DROP OFF.

 

The 4-H office will transport 4-H exhibits to the state fair.
